James offers extensive expertise in design and project management for coal mine engineering projects across Queensland and New South Wales, with particular specialisation in underground piped services and gas drainage systems.

 

With a strong foundation in engineering design developed through his consulting experience, James also brings practical insight into site operations, having held a range of onsite roles between 2013 and 2019 during the industry downturn. This combination of technical depth and hands-on field experience enables him to deliver solutions that are both technically robust and practically implementable.

 

James attained Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status with Engineers Australia and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) accreditation in 2016. He ensures that all professional engineering services delivered by Bagnall Engineering are fully compliant with the Queensland Professional Engineers Act and applicable Australian and international standards.
